GAME: New Orleans Hornets (38-42) at Phoenix Suns (52-28).
TIME: Monday, 10 p.m. EDT.
With the playoffs approaching and the Phoenix Suns possibly more concerned about getting healthy than winning games, the New Orleans Hornets hope to be the latest team to beat up on the Pacific Division champions.
This is the regular-season home finale for the Suns, who have two games remaining before opening the playoffs at the U.S. Airways Center as the second seed in the Western Conference.

Mike D'Antoni sometimes seemed determined to scream the Phoenix Suns out of their month-long slumber. The coach berated the officials with long tirades, and he ripped into his players at halftime. When their ears healed, they rediscovered their swagger -- and nobody swaggers quite like the high-flying Suns.

For a while, Andrei Kirilenko looked like the only Utah player who could keep up with the Phoenix Suns. Kirilenko had 22 points, a career-high 18 rebounds and blocked four shots in the second half and Deron Williams, a rookie going head-to-head with league MVP Steve Nash, finished with 17 points...

Amare Stoudemire is back, but it's possible he could do more harm than good to the Suns' already potent lineup.
Nets 110, Suns 72 (AP)
New Jersey's dominance of Phoenix was so stunning that Nets coach Lawrence Frank had trouble keeping track of it. Nenad Krstic had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and the Nets won their ninth straight game, holding the Suns to their lowest point total of the season in a 110-72 rout on Monday night. "Midway through the third quarter, I was working on my math skills," Frank said.
Suns 107, Nuggets 96 (AP)
The Suns beat the Denver Nuggets in a showdown of NBA division leaders, and yet all the talk after the game was about how poorly Phoenix played. They shot only 43.3 percent from the floor, well below their 48.0 percent average, second-best in the NBA. They blew a 14-point second-quarter lead. And they lacked the energy they had two nights earlier, when Amare Stoudemire returned to the lineup after...

Stoudemire back on sidelines (AP)
Suns forward Amare Stoudemire received treatment on his left knee in the tiny visitors' locker room Tuesday, declining to answer any questions about his return to the sidelines. Phoenix coach and general manager Mike D'Antoni said Stoudemire wouldn't play against the Milwaukee Bucks, but doesn't have an idea when his young forward might return.

Charlie Bell says Bucks coach Terry Stotts didn't know much about him at the start of the season. But Milwaukee didn't give up on Bell like Phoenix did, and Tuesday night he showed the Suns that the Bucks could match their fast-paced style. Bell, who played his first five NBA games with the Suns in 2001, had career highs of 19 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds for his first career triple-double,...
